Perfectionism

Strong. Independent. Doesn’t need anyone… right?

Have you ever felt like you can just do it all? Like you're different from others because you're the person everyone can depend on? Maybe you've found yourself saying, "I thrive on being busy," or "I handle crises with ease." But what you might notice is that when you finally slow down or try to relax, that's when the anxiety starts.

Perfectionism therapy isn't about changing who you are—it's about understanding where this drive comes from. You can absolutely be a high-achieving person without feeling like you have to be perfect.

Together, we'll explore your "why." Does this drive come from a place of needing to feel worthy, accepted, or needed? Or does it come from a place of genuinely loving to challenge yourself, set goals, and find joy in achieving them?

Understanding the difference can be the first step toward creating a healthier relationship with success, rest, and yourself.

You don't have to have it figure it out alone

You don’t need to know exactly what to say or what you want to work on before reaching out. We can start with a conversation and figure out what support could look like together.

There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. We take the time to understand you—your story, your patterns, what you’ve been carrying, and where you want to grow. Together, we’ll create a counselling experience that feels human, supportive, and uniquely yours

Our Approach

Connection First.

Before any technique or intervention, we focus on building a genuine relationship with you. From there, our work is guided by three core principles:

Humanistic

You are more than a diagnosis or a list of symptoms. We see you as a whole person and believe you already have strengths, resilience, and the capacity for growth. Our role is to walk alongside you, not tell you who you should be.

Relational

Healing happens through connection. We value authenticity and believe that feeling genuinely seen, heard, and understood is one of the most important parts of therapy. The relationship we build together matters.

Trauma-Informed

Safety comes first. We understand that past experiences can shape how you see yourself, others, and the world. We move at your pace, honour your boundaries, and strive to create an environment where you feel emotionally and physically safe throughout your therapy journey.
