Grief & Loss

Because grief doesn’t follow a timeline.

Grief is one of the most human experiences we go through, yet it can also be one of the most isolating. Many people think grief only happens after the death of a loved one, but grief can come from many different kinds of loss. It can be the end of a relationship, changes in your health, losing a job, infertility, a move, becoming an empty nester, or letting go of the life you thought you were going to have.

There is no "right" way to grieve, and there is no timeline you have to    follow. Some days you may feel okay, while other days the weight of your loss feels overwhelming. Both can exist at the same time.

Grief therapy isn't about helping you "move on" or forget what you've lost. It's about creating a safe space to process your emotions, make sense of your experience, and learn how to carry your loss while continuing to move forward in a way that feels meaningful to you. You don't have to walk through it alone.

You don’t have to
carry this alone

You don’t need to know exactly what to say or what you want to work on before reaching out. We can start with a conversation and figure out what support could look like together.

There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. We take the time to understand you—your story, your patterns, what you’ve been carrying, and where you want to grow. Together, we’ll create a counselling experience that feels human, supportive, and uniquely yours

Our Approach

Connection First.

Before any technique or intervention, we focus on building a genuine relationship with you. From there, our work is guided by three core principles:

Humanistic

You are more than a diagnosis or a list of symptoms. We see you as a whole person and believe you already have strengths, resilience, and the capacity for growth. Our role is to walk alongside you, not tell you who you should be.

Relational

Healing happens through connection. We value authenticity and believe that feeling genuinely seen, heard, and understood is one of the most important parts of therapy. The relationship we build together matters.

Trauma-Informed

Safety comes first. We understand that past experiences can shape how you see yourself, others, and the world. We move at your pace, honour your boundaries, and strive to create an environment where you feel emotionally and physically safe throughout your therapy journey.
